Beeswax Candle Safety

WARNING:

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always:

  • Burn on a heat-resistant surface.
  • Keep away from children and pets.
  • Keep away from curtains, bedding, paper, and flammable materials.
  • Extinguish before leaving the room.
  • Trim wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn.

Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains.

Beeswax Candle & Wooden Base Safety

The beeswax taper candle and wooden candle base are intended for decorative and personal use only.

By purchasing and using this product, you acknowledge that an open flame presents inherent risks and agree to use the product responsibly and in accordance with all safety instructions.

Candle Safety Instructions

  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep away from children, pets, curtains, bedding, paper products, and all flammable materials.
  • Place the wooden base on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface.
  • Do not move the candle or base while the candle is lit or while wax is hot.
  • Extinguish the candle immediately if it becomes unstable or burns unevenly.
  • Burn only in a well-ventilated area away from drafts, fans, or open windows.
  • Never burn the candle near combustible materials or in areas where it may be knocked over.

Wooden Base Safety

The wooden candle base is designed specifically for use with the included beeswax taper candle.

To reduce the risk of heat damage, fire hazards, and excessive wax accumulation:

  • Discontinue use when the candle has burned approximately halfway down its original length, or sooner if heat, flame, or melted wax approaches the wooden base.
  • Inspect the base before each use.
  • Remove excess wax only after it has fully cooled and hardened.
  • Do not modify, drill, sand, or alter the wooden base.
  • Keep the wooden base dry and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or excessive heat.
